Yes, June marks that the summer solstice is approaching. Daylight will be longer until then and that makes it prime camping time. We have put up a shelter over the picnic table for added shade and being next to the rock grotto, a coolness can be felt thanks to the geology of the unique Columbia rocks. Each site has a water hookup with two spigots. During summer and fall, we keep a hose at each site for our guests and as an added measure for fire safety. Our great water is from snow melt which is stored along the several reservoirs in our area and they are all close to full capacity. The area received a healthy amount of snow during early spring that gave our campers a fun filled snow experience right outside their RV doors. But hey, it’s summer so come out and enjoy summer camping.
