Don’t let winter stop your camping plans. We sometimes have a break from the rain and get some nice sunny winter days. Clear night skies to see the stars with the warmth of a campfire and hot beverages to accompany the s’mores after a camp cookout. Now doesn’t that sound like a way to get recharged after a busy work week or escape for peace and quiet during the week to avoid traffic and crowds. We are the place for that. 

The road to the Squirrel Rock entrance gate is all paved. From the gate it is hard packed gravel to the campground which is also fully graveled. Thank you to our local grading contractor who keeps the road and turnaround in top condition. No mud, no mess but our trails could be a bit muddy if you feel like trekking lightly.
